The photographer present within the seeing Most photographs hide the person who made them. These don't. A reflection in glass, a silhouette against a window, the camera itself caught in a surface it was pointed at. Not self-portraits in any conventional sense — but moments where the act of seeing left a trace. The photographer is never absent from the photograph. Usually that presence is invisible. Here, it becomes the subject
